Ruegen-Island / Beachcombing #2

English: I could not believe how many shoes and other urban pieces we found along the shore in one day. I took a lot captures and this one is my little fav: As you can see, this is a shoe from a child. I havn't cropped the frame for showing you its real size. I hope you like it - what do you think of such shots combined with that processing? I like it so much to spend some time for such a result.

Ruegen-Island / Outlook

English: Welcome in 2011! I'm so curious where and how I am blown away - I'm thinking of some projects I would like to perform, a new lens and some exciting travels, concerts and events. For this capture: It was the first shot I took on Ruegen after a long trip by train and car, overall 18 hours. But this view compensated the whole effort.

Ruegen-Island / Beachcombing #1

English: Day 1 on Ruegen-Island and my first walk along the shore since 3 years. It was fantastic - the first thing I discovered was this stranded shoe and I was totaly reminded on Davids beachcombing shots. Since I discoverd his photoblog, I'm browsing his archive night by night and waited for long to get such a shot :) ... I love this kind of photography - what about you?

Game #23

English: Do you remember on this version? This weeks PS-Tennis Game plays around this shot and I also did a new version. I was looking for a colored version and simply swapped the red and blue channel for getting warm and shiny colors. The selective color correction tool did the rest and voila! Hope you like it :).

To Touch – Behind The Scenes

English: I know - we all are "Digital Natives" :) ... but what about the work behind the scenes? I want show you a "real-piece" of one of my favorite weddings I shot this year. This is a typical Photobook, nothing exceptional, but perfect for showing so many impressive moments. I think, a photobook (usual or ordinary) is the decisive moment (for the bride, groom and me) where you find out if you did a good job. This moment is heartbeating, priceless and the best reward you can get ... .

Throughout the years I learned, that a print is so different to his digital source - thats why I often print some favorites and attach them to my personal photowall. This is the real contact to my work. And what about you?

Sea Rose #Game 6

English: This is my version for PS-Tennis Game 6. This sea rose was too far away to photograph so I swam to the middle of the lake. Fortunately my camera remained dry :)

Cheater, Cheater, Cheater

English: The most of my friends own boots (more than two pairs :D). These are "cheater": They lift you up, great for all seasons (weather), they rock with you the hole night on the floor and they are your best friends on the way to school or work ... . It's a good advice leave your processed shoot for a while. Often (one day later) I discover some things I do not really like and fix them before posting. This recipe works great for me. But at the moment (yes, these are XOXO's boots) I cannot decide which candidate I should show you. Of course, the differnce is only the color toning, last but not least I like all of them. What do you think? Which is your favorite?
