English: On Game 4 (Photoshop-Tennis) Miles gave the original shot taken in Yonge Dundas Square in Toronto. I like this capture and I tried to leave it so natural as possible. Miles wins this race - congratiulation!

English: So many things happen in the last three weeks: My lovely mac was broken, the first examination work (study) is written and I did some "heavy" jobs. Also, some signifacant changes are done in this blog, a new iMobile section for further shoots on the go (I'm still waiting for the iPhone4, my first one) arrived and a page for purchasing prints. And for this shoot: I love the simplicity and composition of this moment, I wait for long showing you this picture taken 6 months ago.

German: Eine Menge Ereignisse der letzten Wochen sind nun wirklich ausgestanden: Mein Mac "Baby" musste in die Werkstatt, die erste Abschlussarbeit für's Studium ist geschrieben und recht "schwere" Jobs liegen hinter mir. Auch gibt es einschneidende Veränderungen im Blog, so gibt es eine neue Sektion für "mobile" Fotos mit dem iPhone4 (und genau darauf warte ich - mein erstes iPhone überhaupt) und eine Seite um Bilder auch als Ausdrucke erstehen zu können. Aber nun zum Bild: Ich mag die Einfachheit und Komposition - typisch für mich, dass diese Aufnahme ein halbes Jahr darauf gewartet hat gezeigt zu werden.

English: XOXO doesn't like laughing on pictures (as she told me) - but she has so many cute silhouettes. Particularly for XOXO I decided show the adult girl on this last capture of the set ;). And finally: I'd like to take this opportunity to thank her for doing this great job.

German: XOXO lacht nicht wirklich gern auf Bildern (wie sie mir erzählte) - sie hat aber ein Menge toller Silhouetten drauf. Und ganz speziell für XOXO gibt es deswegen als letzte Aufnahme dieser Serie das erwachsene Mädchen ;). English: This will be the last capture taking from Sui, time to move outside taking some "normal" shots ;). I cannot post the hole session here - but I'm sure that another shot will find his way to the Nicki PhotoBlog later this year.

English: It's tricky playing with such hard contrasts particularly on portraits. But this nice guy adjust the contrasts with his fine smile - I like this strange combination. Of course, I could have used a flash, but I absolute prefer using available light - pure shooting.

German: Es ist schon etwas heikel mit "heftigen" Kontrasten in Portraits zu arbeiten. Auf der anderen Seite ist das schöne Lachen ein wunderbarer Ausgleich - ich mag die Kombination irgendwie sehr. Und sicher hätte ich einen Aufhellblitz nutzen können - aber nur mit Tageslicht zu fotografieren kribbelt viel mehr - pure Fotografie.
